Local History Resources at the Library

The Martins Ferry Public Library offers the local history & family history researcher a variety of resources. We offer local newspaper coverage on microfilm back to the early 1900's. You will find census data on microfilm, CD-ROM and online.

Martins Ferry High School Yearbooks - we have the 1909 through 2011 (missing 1991, 2008 & 2009) yearbooks. We are always happy to accept donations of yearbooks.

The city of Martins Ferry has established a Hall of Honor to acknowledge those citizens whose actions or accomplishments have affected, aided or brought fame to Martins Ferry. Those eligible for this honor must have been born, lived or worked in the City of Martins Ferry.
